Temp-Mail.org alternatives: 6 temp mail services compared
Temp-Mail.org is one of the best-known disposable email services, and it is a good one. People look elsewhere when they want messages kept longer, a free custom name, the ability to reply, or an address that gets past domain blocks. Here is how six services compare, with every fact taken from each service's own site or store listing.
Facts checked on 9 October 2026 from each service's own FAQ, pricing page or app store listing; sources are at the end. Features and prices change, so check the service before you rely on one detail. We make TempMail, so read our row with that in mind.

What to look for
- How long messages stay. From 10 minutes to 7 days. Longer is better if a site sends a second email later.
- Whether anyone else can read the inbox. Free inboxes on most services, TempMail included, open for anyone who knows the address.
- Apps or browser. Native apps are quicker on a phone; a web service works anywhere.
- Domain choice. More domains, or Gmail-based addresses, help when a site blocks disposable domains.
- Sending. Only a few services let you reply.
The services in detail
TempMail
Native apps for Android and iPhone, the same app in the browser at gettempmail.net, and a Telegram bot. The address is ready when the app opens and stays until you delete it; messages are deleted 12 hours after they arrive. You can save up to 10 custom addresses on 23 free domains without paying. It is receive only, attachments are not shown, and the free store apps carry ads. Choose it for a phone-first temp mail with free custom names and plenty of domains.
Temp-Mail.org
A long-running service on the web, Android and iPhone, with a 4.7 rating from about 20,000 reviews on the US App Store. Its FAQ says the address is valid until you delete it and that sending is disabled; its App Store listing says emails are not stored more than 1 to 2 hours. Premium adds your own domain, premium domains, up to 10 addresses and no ads. Choose it if you want the most established name, or need to connect your own domain.
10 Minute Mail
A web service that says it has run since 2006. Each address lasts 10 minutes, with a button for 10 more, and you can reply and forward while it is active. It is free, supported by donations. Choose it when you want an address that disappears quickly, or you need to reply once.
Guerrilla Mail
A web service with a public API. You can edit the inbox name, choose from 11 domains and compose emails; messages are deleted after 1 hour. An own-domain option costs $9.99 a year. Choose it if you need to send, or want an API for testing.
Mail.tm
A browser-based service that creates an account and password for you automatically. The mailbox is kept until you delete it and messages are stored for 7 days, the longest here. It does not send mail and has no paid plan. Choose it when you need messages to stay for days.
Emailnator
Instead of its own domains, Emailnator gives Gmail-based addresses, which some sign-up forms accept when they block disposable domains. Free messages are deleted after 24 hours and free inboxes are public; Premium makes them private. Choose it when a site refuses every disposable domain you try.
Which one to pick
| If you need | Try |

| The best-known service, or your own domain | Temp-Mail.org |
| An address that self-destructs in minutes | 10 Minute Mail |
| To send or reply, or an API | Guerrilla Mail |
| Messages kept for a week | Mail.tm |
| To get past a site that blocks disposable domains | Emailnator |
Whichever you use, the same rule applies: disposable inboxes are for sign-ups you can afford to lose. See is temp mail safe.
