1. Introduction

TempMailGet ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Temp Mail mobile application (Android) and web service at tempmailget.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require account registration or signup
  • We do not collect your real name, phone number, or personal email address
  • We do not store or read the content of emails received in temporary inboxes on your device
  • We do not sell any user data to third parties

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Service, the following may be collected automatically:

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (for ad personalization, if consented)
  • Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage patterns, crash logs and diagnostics
  • IP Address: Collected by our servers to process email requests; not stored permanently
  • Advertising ID: Google Advertising ID, used by Google AdMob for ad personalization (can be reset or opted out via device settings)

2.3 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored only on your device (via SharedPreferences) and is never transmitted to our servers:

  • Generated temporary email addresses
  • Custom email address list
  • Auto-refresh timer preferences
  • Premium subscription status (cached locally for offline access)
  • App preferences and settings

3. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

3.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)

Purpose: To display advertisements within the app. Data collected: device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location. Personalization is based on your consent choice (via the Google UMP consent form). Note: Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements. All ad tracking is disabled for premium users. 3.2 Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)

Purpose: To process TempMail Premium subscription purchases. Data collected: purchase history, transaction IDs, subscription status. Handled by the Google Play Store - we do not see or store your payment details (credit card, UPI, etc.). Google Privacy Policy

3.3 Google Play Services

Purpose: Core app functionality, app updates, crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy

3.4 Firebase Crashlytics (if applicable)

Purpose: Crash reporting and app stability monitoring. Data collected: crash logs, device state at time of crash, stack traces. Firebase Privacy Policy

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

4.1 TempMail Premium

We offer an optional premium subscription ("TempMail Premium"):

  • Product ID: premium
  • Plans: Monthly (auto-renewing), Yearly (auto-renewing)
  • Benefits: No advertisements, auto-refresh always enabled (no rewarded ad required), up to 20 custom mailboxes (vs. 10 for free users), access to premium email domains
  • Payment: Processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive, store, or have access to your payment method details.
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime through Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions. Premium benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Handled by Google Play per their refund policy

4.2 Subscription Data

We store your subscription status (active/inactive) locally on your device for offline functionality. Subscription verification is performed client-side through Google Play purchase APIs. No subscription data is transmitted to our servers.

5. Temporary Email Service

5.1 How It Works

Our service generates disposable, temporary email addresses. Emails received at these addresses are stored on our servers temporarily. Temporary email inboxes are automatically deleted after a period of inactivity. Custom email addresses persist as long as you have them saved in the app.

5.2 Email Content

We do not read, analyze, or mine the content of emails received in temporary inboxes. Emails are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Email content is not used for advertising or profiling purposes. Emails are automatically purged from our servers after the retention period.

5.3 Important Notice

Temporary email addresses are not private - anyone who knows the address can view its inbox. Do not use temporary emails for sensitive, confidential, or financial communications. We are not responsible for any data received at temporary email addresses.

6. Data Retention

  • Temporary emails on server: Automatically deleted after the inactivity period
  • Local app preferences: Until the app is uninstalled or data is cleared
  • Subscription status cache: Until the app is uninstalled or data is cleared
  • Crash logs: Up to 90 days
  • Ad interaction data: Per Google AdMob retention policy

7. Data Security

  • All network communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • No sensitive personal data is collected or stored on our servers
  • Local data is stored using Android SharedPreferences (app-sandboxed storage)
  • We regularly review and update our security practices

8. Your Rights & Choices

8.1 Ad Personalization

You can manage your ad preferences through the consent dialog shown in the app. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out via: Android Settings → Google → Ads.

8.2 Data Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Temporary email addresses and their contents are automatically purged from our servers. To request deletion of any remaining server-side data, contact us at contact@notragnar.com or visit our delete account page.

8.3 Subscription Management

Manage or cancel subscriptions via Google Play Store. Request refunds through Google Play support.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is rated 18+ and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to remove that information.

10. International Users

Our Service is available in 174+ countries/regions. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information as described in this policy. Google Play handles all payment processing and tax compliance for your region.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
